Cultivating character on & off the field.

Cultivating character
on & off the field.

In the fight against poverty, the most impactful way to make a difference is to focus on the empowerment and education of women and girls.  They are more likely to invest back into their families and those around them becoming agents for change in their own community.

Our goals are focused around creating opportunities for girls to gain the life skills needed to succeed in life ON and OFF the field.  We start by cultivating a community of FEMALE STUDENT ATHLETES who we believe can make a difference for years to come.   In our International 360 Sports and Education International Program, we create opportunities for girls to have access to an equal playing field, financial support to stay in school, and empower girls to believe in all the possibilities through empowerment workshops and mentoring.

In many rural communities, many children don't complete school past 7th grade due to financial struggles and girls, more often than not, are first to lose this opportunity leaving them with little to no education.  In Paraguay, the retainment rate of girls in schools is low.  From completion of primary school to upper secondary school, the participation of girls drops 25 percent, from 86 to 61 percent.

One COMMUNITY, one GIRL at a time we want to change that by ensuring essential school needs are met so education can be achieved.

Girls who participate in our 360 Sports and Education program will have the opportunity to apply for the financial support needed to continue their education. Working with their local school, our 360 Sports and Education scholarship program provides funds needed to ensure our participants have access to an equal playing field AND stay in school.

Throughout the school year, attendance and grade performance is monitored, along with full participation on the field to stay eligible.  This requires a commitment from her entire family ensuring she is encouraged to be both, a student and an athlete at home.

In addition, all scholarship recipients are required to 'give back' through local community service projects 3x a year.  This can be a commitment to a monthly clean sweep project, volunteering at local events, assisting the elderly, and more.  If all requirements are met and she is participating in our program the following year,  she has the opportunity to reapply for further assistance.
