Girls Soccer Worldwide™ is a 501c3 non-profit. We are a preventative program providing girls with the necessary tools before they are faced with decision making rather than only reacting to the consequences of a decision already made.
The SHORT-TERM goals in our Grassroots Program are to help young girls believe in their voice and gain the confidence, courage, and
character that can be lost at a young, adolescent age.
Our LONG-TERM goal are to see girls encouraged to believe
in the possibility of their dreams, want to continue on a path of long-term education, and develop
into a stronger version of their future selves.
We strive to develop future leaders by focusing on what is relevant for them today, while planting the seeds for tomorrow.
First and foremost, our #1 goal is to have FUN so every workshop is created with that in mind! Right now more than ever, our girls need to be active and engaged in positive conversation and that is what we have set out to do in our 4-week series. Each activity will be hands-on and centered about empowering messages led by our Bay Area Ambassador for Change Leaders.
Each workshop consists of a 25 minute soccer workshop + a 25 minute leadership workshop that both focus on one social & emotional skill each week. These topics vary from good decision making, building healthy relationships, self-awareness, self-management, and social awareness.
To be play safe, please wear your sneakers, bring your own water and soccer ball . If you don't have a soccer ball, don't worry we have one for you to use!
Since our first Ambassador led trip to Paraguay in 2016, Girls Soccer Worldwide™ has been centered around girls empowering girls and it remains the same today.
All workshops are co-developed and co-facilitated by our Ambassador for Change leaders, girls age 14-18 and live in surrounding cities and supervised by our Co-Founders, Pamela Jacobsen & Walter Pratte, along with adult members of our Leadership Team.
Our Ambassadors work hard to ensure your child has the best experience possible and take pride in knowing how important it is we ALL come together in developing our future leaders.

In 2016, Girls Soccer Worldwide set out to create opportunities for girls internationally to have access to an equal playing field, which doesn't exist in most areas outside of the US. Since then we have become a voice for the hidden voice in many communities, young girls.
FORWARD THINKING: Studies show with the proper resources, women
have the power to become an agent of change creating impact where it matters most. Women
thrive and invest back in their own communities empowering other women around them to do
the same. When women are given opportunities to gain confidence, courage, and character an entire community rises up with it.
Imagine a
world where girls were given the tools succeed at a much younger age, change starts today. That is what we have set out to do...one girl at a time!
This is a crucial time in the brain development and social/emotional learning for girls specifically. Our goals are centered around providing girls with life skills during this time of great influence.
“A girl’s relationships, intimacies, sports activities, art and musical activities, as well as academic learning during the ten-to-twelve period have a great likelihood of sticking or at least reappearing later in her life as an adult because of their interconnection with the massive brain growth." -Micheal Gurin- The Wonder of Girls
We do encourage girls to attend ALL workshops scheduled for each season to gain the full benefits. However, we do understand this can be difficult at times. Please have your daughter attend as many workshops as she can since she will still gain a lot from being at each one.
When possible, please let us know when she will not be attending so we plan accordingly.
