One Choice…
Can Change Thousands
Imagine throwing a pebble into a pond.
The moment it hits the water, ripples begin to spread-far beyond where it landed.
That’s what change looks like.
One choice…
one moment…
one person…
can create a ripple effect that reaches thousands.
Although, you can’t create REAL ripples if you don’t know who you are – that was the truth I had to learn the hard way.
For some time, I struggled with something called “people pleaser syndrome.”
I had few boundaries and said yes when I meant no. I apologized even when I had done nothing wrong. I would choose what was easy instead of what was right.
My self-worth depended on everyone else being happy.
Without realizing it, I was putting myself on a shelf and allowing other people’s opinions to shape who I was becoming:
Today, I’ve learned something powerful:
It’s okay to take up space.
It’s okay to say no.
And it’s necessary to build boundaries.
That’s where change began for me.
Rooted In Purpose
Through the Ambassador for Change program, I started asking questions no one had ever really taught me to ask:
Who am I? What do I stand for?
There’s a quote that stuck with me from my Ambassador for Change notebook:
“If your roots are shallow, the minute you face challenges, you will fall to whatever is pressing you. But if your roots are grounded and firm, you will remain strong through any circumstance.”
That’s what this program gave me:
roots.
Through our work, we don’t just talk about leadership. We build it from the inside out. We define our values, our foundation, because when you know your values something inside you shifts.
You stop shrinking.
You stop questioning your worth.
You stop letting the world define you, and you start defining yourself.
That’s how real change happens.
Because every time you choose to live by your values, you drop another pebble into the pond.
And those ripples? They reach people you may never even meet.
That’s why our motto is:
Change One. Change Thousands.
Because when you help one girl understand her worth, she becomes someone who lifts others up.
She walks into spaces where girls feel unseen -on teams, in classrooms, in leadership-and reminds them they belong.
That’s what it means to be an ambassador.
Not just to represent a program. It about becoming the kind of person whose roots are strong enough to help others grow.

If you see yourself in my story…you’ve struggled with boundaries, self-worth, or finding your voice, this is your pebble moment.
You can choose to change.
And when you do, you won’t just change your own life.
You’ll create ripples that change thousands.
